This is a powerful image that relates to feedback.

A lot of times as leaders, we get caught up in wanted to see the glass as half full when giving feedback. Feedback is meant to steer our teams towards future success.

How do you view feedback?

Good morning leaders! As a follow up from our lead better session I wanted to remind all of you that really great systems and processes led by the wrong people will fail, but even mediocre systems and processes led by the right people will be successful! It is much easier to tweak a system or process being lead by the right person! When a system is failing ask yourself: 1. Is this a person issue? 2. Is this a system issue? Dont keep trying to change a good system when you have the wrong person owning that system! It will continue to fail despite your best effort!

Thank you all who attended our lead better tonight! I talked about making sure you have the right people in the right seat while running, creating, and sustaining systems and processes. You must make sure they have full ownership, understand their 3-5 responsibilites and are held accountable to pushing the business forward.

The change you want to see in the world starts with you.

Often times we look at what other people and peers are doing and want to change from them without challenging ourselves to take a look in the mirror.

A lot of time, we neglect the fact that we may need some adjustments before expecting others to adjust.
