Hello February!

A new month is a new reason to start picking up a new habit or letting go of a bad habit you have picked up over the years! As leaders, we must continue to better ourselves to provide our team members with the best versions of ourselves. I challenge you to pick one habit that you are bringing into February and one habit that you are leaving in January.

Here are some examples:


  • Working out 30 minutes a day

  • Journaling for 10 minutes in the morning

  • Communicating to everyone when I walk into my shift

  • Affirming someone on my team every shift

  • Meeting with a team member once a week to further their development.

  • Meal prepping on Sundays

  • Reading 10 pages a day


  • Sleeping less than 7 hours

  • Not communicating results daily to my team

  • Doubting my possibilities

  • Not trying to learn something new

  • Not going outside for fresh air
