Happy Wednesday Leaders!
Leaders Square has leaders from different backgrounds, tenures, and experiences. In this group, we are able to grow better together. We have the opportunity to share wisdom and offer support during troubling situations.
This week I would love it if everyone could share with the group!
I would tell myself to wake up earlier! Five years ago, I would have considered myself a midday person. I could never stay up late or enjoy waking up really early. Waking up early has had several benefits that have tremendously impacted my life.
Improved mental well-being:
Waking up early gives you the opportunity to establish a morning routine that includes activities to enhance your mental well-being. You can engage in activities such as a devotional, meditation, journaling, or reading, which promote mindfulness and self-reflection. These activities can help you start your day with a calm and positive mindset, reducing stress and increasing your overall well-being.
Increased productivity:
Waking up early provides you with extra time in the morning when distractions are minimal. This quiet and uninterrupted time can be used to focus on important tasks, such as planning your day, exercising, or working on personal projects. Starting your day early allows you to set a positive tone for the rest of the day, giving you a head start and a sense of accomplishment.
While waking up early may require an adjustment to your sleep routine, the benefits it offers in terms of productivity and mental well-being make it a worthwhile habit to cultivate. Remember to prioritize getting enough sleep by establishing a consistent bedtime routine to support your early waking habits. In order to have a master the morning we must prepare the night before!
So what advice would you give yourself 5 years ago?
